Marathon #4 – 23/03/2012 – BASILICATA : Policoro
For Marathon number 4 we enter the region of Basilicata with no much hope to find a flat stretch to run 42km.

Looking at the map, this may be one of the hardest runs of the challenge. At the same time I think it may be useful to do something different, including some long ups and down on the route. Also, won’t be difficult to do a negative split here as the first half is uphill and the second half is all downhill!
Time schedule for the race
Warm up – 7:00: Meet @ Lido Sirena, Lido di Policoro
Start – ore 7:30 : From end of Via riviera delle Palme, Trebisacce
Km 13 – ore 9:10 (expected) : Reach PaneVino
Km 21 – ore 10:00 (expected) : Reach Anglona
Km 35 – ore 11:00 (expected) : Reach Policoro
Finish Km 42 – ore 11:45 (expected) : Finish @ Lido Sirena, Lido di Policoro

To let us know if any direction or road is not correct (roads not there anymore, or too busy or not ideal for running, etc.. ) or if there are better alternative routes.
To come running with us, for the whole distance, or only few kilometers!
