Marathon #18 – 12/04/2012 – EMILIA: Cesenatico Rimini Riccione

This stretch of towns on the Adriatic sea, is known to every Italian as the summer party area! I don’t know if Rimini and Riccione have the same splendor of 10-15 years ago, I am going to find out! Well.. actually, even if it was, I am not too sure that would be much of a party capital off season, during the week, and at 8 o’clock in the morning. Damn, I will have to stick to the running then and leave the fun till next time then!

 
 
 
 
 

MARATHON No 18 : MAP

This marathon is very flat. Starting from Cesenatico we run along the “lungomare” all the way to Riccione. The route should be pretty simple to follow so should be a very enjoyable run.

 

Time schedule for the race

Warm up – 7:00: Meet @ Cesenatico Town Hall

Start – ore 7:30 : From Cesenatico’s Town Hall

Km 10 – ore 8:25 (expected) : Bellaria

Km 21 – ore 9:25 (expected) : Rimini/San Giuliano a mare

Km 32 – ore 10:25 (expected) : Fogliano Marina

Finish Km 42 – ore 11:20 (expected) : Finish @ Piazzale San Martino Riccione
