IF we want to OUTRUN CANCER, we're going to need your help

We have been running and fundraising for cancer prevention research in Australia since 2011.
With #OUTRUNCANCERDAY we are looking to get people moving globally and really make a dent on cancer.

If not you and me, who else is going to take this responsibility?

What we need

We’re looking to partner with like-minded, forward-thinking organisations that share our vision and want to make a dent to cancer through prevention.

We’re happy with all levels of investment and involvement. Just contact us to discuss how you can get started.

So if you want to join us taking OUTRUNCANCERDAY to the next level, promote the prevention message to the Australian Community and make a real change.

Cancer Council NSW is an independent charity and is over 95% community funded. Our unique combination of local program delivery, community engagement and national influence enables everyone who cares about cancer to make the biggest possible difference.

Cancer Council is the only organisation that works across every area of every cancer:

  • conducting and funding world-class research that underpins our work across the cancer journey
  • preventing cancer
  • supporting people as they navigate the cancer journey
  • advocating to ensure that governments take action on cancer

We are there not only for those touched by cancer today, but to prevent and manage cancer for future generations.

What they say

“We know that one in three cancer cases are preventable and lifestyle choices such as physical activity can reduce your cancer risk. That’s why preventing cancer is one of the most effective ways of achieving a cancer-free future. Each year, OUTRUNCANCER’s Corporate Treadmill Marathon raises funds for Cancer Council’s work within the cancer prevention space, helping us to reduce cancer in the NSW community and encourage people to lead healthy, cancer-smart lifestyles.”

Pure Running is all about running with a conscience.

We’re for the community, for the environment and for the love of running, sourcing only a range of products that we believe in for runners of all levels. All products stocked on Pure Running are ones that have been rigorously tried and tested, making sure they last the distance, work the way they should and are ethically and environmentally sound.

We encourage people and communities to think about how we can all make choices that can have a positive impact. We’re also on a mission to ‘give back’ and every year, we donate a portion of our profits to various charities such as the amazing Outrun Cancer!

The Macquarie Group Foundation has been supporting OUTRUN CANCER since our beginning, matching staff donations and promoting staff involvement. We could not feel more proud and grateful for their ongoing commitment to our cause.

The Macquarie Group Foundation provides support to community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing, predominantly in the locations in which Macquarie operates.
Our work is significantly influenced by the activities of Macquarie staff with a focus on capacity building within the community sector and increasing social and economic mobility.

AMP has been supporting OUTRUN CANCER since 2016 by dollar-matching employee participants’ fundraising efforts. The Foundation also funds the AMP Cancer Council Pro Bono Program, which enables financial advisers to provide free advice to people affected by cancer.

As the main vehicle through which AMP invests in the community, the AMP Foundation’s goal is to help create a better tomorrow for everyone.

We at the Australian Sports Brewing Co are proud to support Outrun Cancer with ZERO+ Sports Beer which is possibly the healthiest beer available today.

First and foremost, this is a great tasting and refreshing non-alcoholic pale ale.

ZERO+ Sports Beer is designed specifically to be enjoyed with friends post sport and exercise. We enhance the beer with a mix of high-end electrolytes and brew to allow naturally occurring polyphenols that bring out the natural goodness in the beer.

Beer for Sports Recovery. Enhanced with magnesium, potassium, calcium and sodium for faster muscle recovery and whole-body rehydration, along with polyphenols to reduce inflammation so you can go hard again sooner.

Enjoy it, guilt-free and support Outrun Cancer.
